So this week’s challenge is not for a specific space in your home, but something a bit different. It’s a creative and fun way to make some progress your home that you can do by yourself or with others. And it shouldn’t take too much time either. The goal is to find:
12 items to donate;
12 items to toss out/recycle; and
12 items to be returned to their original home
The goal of the 12-12-12 challenge is to combine some decluttering with some organization and to make the process less overwhelming. If you make the 12-12-12 a regular weekly event, it can really help chip away at the piles and clutter in your home.
I did it over the weekend–yes, I also have (too much) stuff in my own home that fits into the above 3 categories–and enlisted the help of my kids. We put on some music and it took 20 minutes and was relatively painless. Below you’ll see what we came up with together.
