When I was a child, I remember that my favorite part of the holiday season was our advent calendar. I grew up in several countries abroad, and each year, my maternal grandmother would fill the same calendar and sent it to my brother and me wherever we were. Inside each little box, she added little notes, stickers, small objects and candy. To me, it was the most magical thing–and one of my strongest memories of December.
Each year on Solve My Space, I like to do a little something for the holidays for my clients and others–whether it’s sharing ideas about getting organized for the holidays or coming up with gift guides for all budgets. This year, I feel especially grateful to a number of people and businesses who have both supported and motivated me with my own business. For this reason, I wanted to create a “non-religious-yet-festive” advent calendar to promote and support local businesses in Montreal while at the same time, help people get excited and ready for the holiday season.
Every day from December 1st to 24th, please come over to the Solve My Space Facebook page for a little something special in the spirit of the holidays, including ideas, projects and promotions:
— Discover local Montreal businesses
— Find out about holiday activities, artisan fairs, and toy drives
— Get gift inspiration and DIY ideas
I will also have guest posts + holiday ideas on this blog but daily updates will be on my Facebook page. And when you visit my FB page, I would greatly appreciate if you could LIKE my page as well as the pages of others who are participating.
