It’s a question I get all the time: what to do with all of the artwork kids bring home from school/daycare or the projects that we do together at home? How to display or store or recycle (absolutely necessary—can’t keep them all!)? While there are a lot of solutions given each individual space, I wanted to share an idea for displaying artwork that I particularly love. And on top of it, it’s simple to install, affordable and customizable to any space.
All you need are IKEA DIGINET curtain wires and a package of RIKTIG curtain hooks. The wires are easily installed on to your wall of choice and you add as many curtain hooks as needed. You can hang several (as shown below) or distribute them in one long horizontal line for larger artwork. And then, voilà!, your own art gallery is ready to display and rotate all the creativity in your home. Thank you Mitali and Derek Ruths (and budding artists S + L) for the inspiration!
