What happens when you combine ancient basking weaving with plastic waste?
Spanish designer Alvaro Catalán de Ocón wanted to create a product that would help to prevent single-use pop bottles from going out to sea. Together with artisans in Colombia, he has developed the PET lamp, a unique and beautiful response to plastic pollution. Each PET Lamp is assembled, sewn and knitted by hand from fabrics and materials from the Colombian Amazon. On the website, you can choose your own combination of colours for the cable and lampshade and also order the lamp the set in any height you want for your space. Yes, this is definitely one for the wish list.
